No es una fuente oficial y no sustituye el reporte de la UNGRD, la Cruz Roja Colombiana, la Defensa Civil, los bomberos ni la alcaldía de cada municipio. Consolida en un solo sitio lo que se va sabiendo, con su evidencia y su nivel de verificación, para que se pueda consultar y citar sin perder el origen. Las cifras oficiales las emite quien tiene la competencia para hacerlo. This is not an official source and does not replace reporting by the UNGRD, the Colombian Red Cross, the Civil Defence, the fire services or each municipality's town hall. It consolidates in one place what is becoming known, with its evidence and its level of verification, so it can be consulted and cited without losing the origin. Official figures are issued by those with the authority to issue them.

Se guardan en una dirección larga e imposible de adivinar y no se enlazan en ninguna parte hasta que alguien revisa el reporte. Si se rechaza, quien modera borra el archivo: una imagen que se decidió dejar fuera no debe sobrevivir a esa decisión. Lo mismo con las que nadie revisa en 30 días, porque una imagen sin revisar no es evidencia, es un riesgo guardado en un depósito. El reporte en sí nunca se borra: su texto y la decisión que se tomó quedan en el registro, sin la imagen. El sitio no puede eliminar nada por su cuenta, ni siquiera si fallara: la base de datos no le concede ese permiso. They sit at a long, unguessable address and are linked nowhere until someone reviews the report. If it is rejected, whoever moderates deletes the file: an image that was decided against should not survive that decision. The same goes for anything nobody reviews within 30 days, because an unreviewed image is not evidence, it is a liability sitting in a bucket. The report itself is never deleted: its text and the decision taken stay in the record, without the image. The site cannot remove anything on its own, not even if it failed: the database grants it no such permission.

Every case is reviewed one by one: without knowing what is wrong there is no way to fix it, and the reason is what separates a genuine error from an attempt to erase something inconvenient. If it is taken down, the change history records the removal, without republishing it.

El catastro de daño más completo del país: 2.082 puntos afectados, 317 municipios y 206 puntos de acopio, sobre 172 fuentes. Lo usamos como referencia para entender el panorama y para contrastar qué municipios estaban documentados y cuáles no. The most complete damage record in the country: 2,082 affected points, 317 municipalities and 206 collection points, over 172 sources. We use it as a reference to understand the landscape and to check which municipalities were already documented. Its municipal sheets explicitly exclude aid received, shipments and detailed needs, and its collection points carry addresses but not what they take. That is exactly the gap this record fills.
